かもしれない
can be added to the end of any sentence in place of the verb, and means
may be, probably is, probably will
.
It is often used when describing future weather (since weather can't be predicted with absolute certainty). For example:
あした
明日
れかもしれない tomorrow may well be fine
In informal conversation, the しれない can be omitted, or replaced with しれん, especially when the user is implying that they are thinking through something on the spot, eg as in かもしれんなあ. In more polite conversation, the form かもしれません would be used.
Note: the しれない comes from 知る (to know), so かも知れない and かも知れません are also common.
