Cloudiness After Wordplay
The title is a play on 晴れのち曇り(はれのちくもり: sunny then cloudy). The author is the famous rakugo storyteller 立川談四楼 (たてかわ だんしろう: 1951–). This novel fictionalizes his journey to becoming a rakugo storyteller and the nature of his relationship with his mentor 立川談志 (たてかわ だんし: 1936–2011).
