The conditional form of an い adjective (if ~) is made by replacing the い with ければ, and the negative conditional (if ~ is not) is made by replacing the い with くなければ.

For a な adjective, the conditional is formed by adding なら, and the negative conditional by adding でなければ (or じゃなければ).
