Radical 74, 月 (month; moon), also usually appears in kanji in exactly the same form as this form of 肉 (meat). To distinguish the two, in Kanshudo we use the character ⺼ as the component when it represents 肉 (meat), and 月 (month; moon) or ⺝ (month; moon)when it represents moon.
