Grammar detail: よって
よって - therefore; because (Kansai-ben)

My current mastery of this grammar:
In addition to its common use in the form 〜によって, よって can be used to begin a sentence, in which case it simply means 'therefore ...' or 'as a result ...'.
In Kansai-ben (the dialect of Japanese spoken in the Kansai region), よって (or さかい) may be used as conjunctions meaning 'because', in place of the Hyojungo (standard Japanese) から and ので.
Hyojungo | このおせんべいおいしいから、食べてみて。 |
Kansai-ben | このおせんべいおいしいよって、食べてみ。 | English | This rice cracker is good, so give it a try. |
