My current mastery of this grammar:
かり
仮
にconditional form phrase
means (even) if ~; supposing that ~; providing that ~ etc.
かり
仮
に is similar to forms of 'if' such as もし or もしも in that it is prepended to a phrase using a conditional form such as ば or たら or ばあい
場合
etc. It indicates a tentative supposition on the part of the speaker, turning a simple 'if ~' into 'even if ~, then ...' or 'let's suppose ~, then ...'.Kanji used in this grammar
