Grammar detail: 〜がため
My current mastery of this grammar:
ん negative form
+ がため
means in order to (do something)
This form is similar to the much more common form verb dictionary form + ために, but the tone is stronger.
The ん negative form of a verb is formed by taking the negative stem and adding ん instead of ない, except for する which is irregular:
Verb | Negative | ん negative |
言う | 言わない | 言わん |
生きる | 生きない | 生きん |
する | しない | せん |
The ん here is actually a contraction of an archaic auxiliary verb む.
