Grammar detail: て form + いただく
て form + いただく - to have someone do something (humble)
My current mastery of this grammar:
person + に + verb て form + いただく
means to have a person do something for you or on your behalf. This form is the humble / polite form of てもらう.いただく is generally written in kana when used in this way, but it can be written in kanji as 頂く.
One common use of the ていただく form is combined with させる, the causative of する, as a very polite alternative to する. In other words, instead of saying simply 'I will do (something)' (する), you are saying something along the lines of 'I will humbly receive the gift of you making me do (something)'. This structure is typically used when accepting invitations, or during formal speeches etc.
